The first blow of the hammer was a life changing instant, unleashing my passion for stone carving. I sculpt in stone, wood and glass to express my artistic vision. During an apprenticeship with a European master carver in New York, I developed my skill and technique to the strong, sensuous style present in my creations. While living in the Pacific Northwest, a haven for glass artists, I studied glass casting and fusing as a sculptural medium.
My works are inspired by my love of nature and the deep human desire for a genuine connection to the natural world.
