I want my paintings to bring to the viewer their own image from my shapes and forms. When this happens, I fel my painting is complete. My primary concern is to capture the beauty of natural space, create a sense of balance and flowing lines to express a natural rhythm. I believe a natural rhythm is found in organic forms, that these elements fill space in the painting. This is achieved by carefully controlling the movement of color and form in that space. In this way, my paintings portray the essence of life, a life where everything is meaningful.
